Netanyahu Has Just Admitted
What We Already Knew
Justice Democrats & Peace Action
(May 7, 2025) — Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu just admitted what we’ve already known: Israel plans to force out the entire Palestinian population from Palestine, flatten Gaza, and occupy it.
The Israeli Security Cabinet just approved a plan to “flatten any buildings that remain standing,” displace all 2 million Palestinians, and occupy ALL of Gaza.
All of this while Israel continues to block food, formula, medical supplies, and other aid from entering Gaza, creating man-made mass starvation.
We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again: this is genocide and ethnic cleansing, full stop. No more smokescreens or spin: Israel is laying bare what it’s promised for years, for those who’ve been listening. This was always the end game.
Lawmakers too spineless to fight back during Biden’s presidency should at least find the courage to stand up against US funding for this Nakba under Trump.
May 15 marks 77 years of Israel’s ongoing Nakba against Palestinians. Nakba means catastrophe in English, and refers to Israel’s efforts to drive Palestinians from their homeland and try to erase their presence.
For the past three years, Justice Democrats Rep. Rashida Tlaib — the only Palestinian-American Member of Congress — has introduced historic resolutions to commemorate the Nakba and call for an end to US support for Israel’s ongoing dispossession of the Palestinian people.

Tell Congress to Recognize Israel’s
Ongoing Nakba Against Palestinians
“Arab villages are still being burned in the Gaza District…bewildered, homeless refugees are congesting the area from Gaza to Khan Yunis to Rafah with despair on their faces as they watch the smoke from their burning villages mounting into the desert sky.”
This quote isn’t from the latest UN report documenting Israel’s genocide of Palestinians in Gaza.
It’s from a December 1948 American Red Cross report describing Israel’s Nakba, or “catastrophe” in English, when the Israeli military drove the vast majority of Palestinians from their homes in a massive campaign of ethnic cleansing.
The Nakba is not just a historical event but an ongoing reality for Palestinians. This May marks 77 years of Israel’s continuous efforts to try to erase Palestinians from their homeland.
As Israel continues its genocidal violence in Gaza and threatens to expel more than 2 million people with the blessing of the Trump administration, Israel’s ongoing Nakba against Palestinians has reached frightening new levels.
For the past three years, Rep. Rashida Tlaib – the only Palestinian-American Member of Congress – has introduced historic resolutions to commemorate the Nakba and call for an end to US support for Israel’s ongoing dispossession of the Palestinian people.
As Rep. Tlaib prepares to reintroduce this resolution this year, we need more Members of Congress than ever before to raise their voices against Israel’s ongoing Nakba.
ACTION: Write your Representative and ask them to cosponsor this important resolution.
