Joe Biden: Enabler of Israeli Genocide in Gaza

GLEN ELLYN, Illinois (October 13, 2025) — Former President Joe Biden secures dubious honor as America’s most ghoulish enabler of Israeli genocide Gaza.
Joe Biden said this astoundingly false statement upon the Gaza ceasefire and release of the Israeli, Palestinian hostages:
“I am deeply grateful and relieved that this day has come. The road to this deal was not easy. My Administration worked relentlessly to bring hostages home, get relief to Palestinian civilians, and end the war.
President Biden did the exact opposite…working relentlessly to enable Israel’s genocidal ethnic cleansing campaign that obliterated Gaza while killing upwards of a hundred thousand Palestinians. For the entire 15 months under his watch, Biden gifted Israel with billions of weapons to conduct the most grotesque genocidal ethnic cleansing this century.
He voted against UN General Assembly condemning it as well as vetoes of similar UN Security Council resolutions. He never seriously pressured Israel to end the genocidal Palestinian suffering and secure Israeli hostage release.
Worst of all, Biden sabotaged a potential ceasefire, hostage release deal 13 months ago that is essentially the same deal President Trump just achieved.
Israeli negotiator Gershon Baskin told The Times of Israel “What we should also know is that this deal could have been done a long time ago. Hamas agreed to all the same terms in September 2024 but Prime Minister Netanyahu refused to end the war” According to Baskin members of the US negotiating team told him they were “as frustrated as I was with their inability to convince Biden and Biden’s people to look seriously at the deal on the table.”
We’ll never know Biden’s rationale for allowing the genocide to begin and go on for his last 15 months in office. He will live out his life falsely claiming he “worked relentlessly to bring hostages home, get relief to Palestinian civilians, and end the war.”
Nor will we fully know Trump’s motivations for forcing upon Israel and Hamas a ceasefire, hostage release and possible road to peace, though likely no Palestinian state. After funding the genocide for 8 long months, Trump’s peace pivot comes after tens of thousands of Palestinians died and Gaza further turned to rubble on his watch. That will haunt Trump’s presidential legacy as well.
Biden and Trump both deserve everlasting condemnation for enabling America’s involvement in the worst humanitarian crisis in its 250 years. But the Dubious Achievement Award for enabling Israeli genocide in Gaza goes to Joseph R. Biden.
