Trump Has Killed 64 People in Military Strikes.
Sign the Petition Demanding Congress Interven

MoveOn

(November 5, 2025) — Since September, the Trump administration has killed at least 64 people in military strikes in the Caribbean.1 This administration claims they’re fighting drug cartels, but they’ve provided zero evidence that any of these boats carried narcotics or that anyone onboard had cartel ties. This is what happens when a president decides he’s above the law.

The Constitution gives Congress, not the president, the power to declare war. Trump has ignored that, declared his own “armed conflict,” and started killing people in international waters with zero oversight.

Sign the petition to demand Congress rein in Trump’s unconstitutional boat strikes NOW.

Last month, members of Congress tried to stop this. Senators Adam Schiff and Tim Kaine introduced a war powers resolution that would have blocked Trump from continuing these strikes without congressional authorization. But the Senate voted it down, 48-51. All but two Republicans voted to let Trump keep killing without authorization.2

We need to show Congress we are paying attention and demand they act. Will you sign the petition to stop Trump’s unconstitutional strikes in the Caribbean?

This isn’t complicated.

Congress must pass the war powers resolution and rein in Trump’s killing spree. The constitutional system of checks and balances works only if Congress actually uses its power. Instead, they are choosing to let Trump operate with zero accountability.

Trump Risks a Senseless War with Venezuela

Trump is moving America closer to a senseless war with Venezuela and is refusing to definitively say whether or not he is planning strikes on Venezuelan soil.3 Trump continues to escalate tensions by threatening Venezuela’s President Nicholas Maduro, saying his days are numbered,4 with Maduro himself interpreting these attacks as the U.S. government’s “inventing a new eternal war.”5

No president should have unilateral power to enter our country into yet another senseless and endless war. And no president should be able to kill anyone, anywhere, with no oversight or evidence presented to the public. Today, it’s boats in the Caribbean. Tomorrow, it could be anyone else this administration deems a threat. Congress has let the Trump administration kill 64 people without lifting a finger. We can make them act. Demand they restore checks and balances and stop these unconstitutional strikes.
