Please join us for this important truth-telling conference about the destruction of Afghanistan and the environment with depleted uranium, the “Trojan Horse of Nuclear War.” The US and UK forces used over 2200 tons of depleted uranium in Iraq in 2003, 1000 tons in Afghanistan in 2001, and 340 tons in the 1991 Gulf War in Iraq.

Professor Katsuma Yagasaki (who presented his findings at the 2003 World Depleted Uranium Weapons Conference in Hamburg, Germany October 16-19) has calculated that the equivalent atomicity of 800 tons of depleted uranium is 83,000 Nagasaki bombs. The US/UK has used the atomicity equivalent of 250,000 Nagasaki bombs on Iraq this year.
