BAGHDAD (4 October 2007) — The Islamic State of Iraq have reported that they have conquered the Rashidiyah district of Baghdad after they carried out intense operations there as their Air Defense division shot down another Apache helicopter in the Arab Jaboor district.

Amid news that several nationalistic fighting groups have joined forces and have set up a central command, the Islamic State of Iraq are continuing their work to secure Iraq for Allah alone, void of any political intentions.

It should be stated that many of the national groups have their own agenda’s, specifically returning the rule of the Baath party while the Islamic State is holding territory based on the Shariah of Allah that sets them and other Mujahideen groups apart from the nationalistic fighters.

Islamic State of Iraq Conquers the
Rashidiyah District in the Baghdad Province

Allah the Almighty by his bounty has enabled His slaves from the Islamic State of Iraq to conquer a new quarter in the area of Rashidiyah of the Baghdad province. These are the first operations of the quarter, we pray to Allah to preserve those who monitored it and to conquer at their hands by the destruction of the enemies of the nation and religion and to establish the law of the Lord of the Worlds.

These operations are part of the “Martyr of the Ummah, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi Expedition” that Abu Omar Al-Bagdadi, the Amir of the Islamic State of Iraq has declared.

Downing a cross worshippers Apache helicopter in Arab Jaboor

The Mujahideen of the Islamic State of Iraq downed, by the grace of Allah, an Apache helicopter of the Cross worshippers at 2.20 afternoon on 15th of Ramadan 1428 corresponding to September 26, 2007 in the area of Arab Jaboor. And to Allah is all praise and thanks.

This operation is part of the “Martyr of the Ummah, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi Expedition” that Abu Omar Al-Bagdadi, the Amir of the Islamic State of Iraq has declared.
