ACTION ALERT: Join the Australian MPs
In Their Effort to #FreeAssange
The Assange Defense Committee

(September 11, 2023) — WikiLeaks editor Julian Assange is facing up to 175 years in prison for publishing truthful information in the public interest.

Now several Australian MPs are preparing to come to the US to lobby for Julian’s freedom ahead of Prime Minister Albanese’s upcoming visit with the Biden administration.

From banner drops, to elected official outreach, to rallies at the DOJ, the Biden administration is starting to feel the pressure. Let’s keep it going so they know that Americans will not stand for these attacks on our free speech.  Here are the updates…

Upcoming Visits from Australian Leaders
A delegation of MPs from across the political spectrum is traveling to D.C. at the end of this month to lobby members of Congress and to work to secure meetings with the Department of Justice and the State Department, working to garner support in the fight to #FreeAssange.

This comes in advance of Prime Minister Albanese’s official state visit next month, where no doubt the topic of Assange’s imprisonment and extradition will come up again.

It’s up to us to ensure we do our part to keep the pressure going. Make sure to contact your elected officials and call the White House to let them know we’re watching and waiting for them to do the right thing… #DroptheCharges!

Upcoming DC Event with Chris Hedges,
Randy Credico, and Ambassador Craig Murray
This Wednesday, Craig Murray and whistleblower John Kiriakou will join Randy at the Tabard Inn in Washington, DC.

Make Your Voice Heard!
With each passing day, we get closer to Julian’s extradition. The damage this could do to him, his family, and to press freedom as a whole cannot be overstated.

We need to make sure that all across the country and the world, locally and nationally, people know what’s at stake. You can make your voice heard by using our Letter to the Editor portal, where you can write and place a letter to the editor in a local paper!
