Now, Ellison is on the verge of taking over the Warner Bros. media empire — including CNN — in a deal orchestrated personally by Trump and his FCC chairman, Brendan Carr.

If this deal is finalized, Ellison will sit atop one of the biggest media conglomerates ever: two giant film studios, TikTok, CBS, CNN, HBO, about two dozen other cable TV channels, and more.

This is what it looks like when a fascist oligarch seizes total control of the media.
