Trump Is Weaponizing the Postal Service
to Steal the Midterm Elections

(May 13, 2026) — Donald Trump just revealed his latest scheme to steal the midterm elections, and we need to act immediately to stop it.
In a recently signed executive order, Trump directed the Department of Homeland Security to create a secret list of administration-approved eligible voters, and then ordered the U.S. Postal Service to throw out ballots cast by anyone not on that list.
This is flagrantly illegal and unconstitutional, and we need to generate a giant public outcry to demand that Congress and the courts stop him.
Trump has already tried to rig the midterms by stealing 10 to 12 seats through gerrymandering, and now he’s trying to weaponize the USPS to disenfranchise Americans he doesn’t want to vote.
Why is Trump so desperate to undermine our election system? Because he knows that he’s in deep, deep trouble.
Trump’s approval ratings have sunk to an all-time low, and with gas prices and inflation spiking because of his war on Iran, he’s desperate to sabotage the midterms.
First, he demanded that Congress pass the SAVE Act, a sweeping voter suppression bill that would disenfranchise up to 21 million Americans by requiring them to show a passport or birth certificate exactly matching their current photo ID to register. Married women, immigrants, transgender people, and low-income voters in particular would be blocked from voting.
But after a major public outcry, the SAVE Act has stalled in the Senate, and no matter what unhinged threats Trump unleashes, he’s been unable to get his way.
So now he’s acting unilaterally, directing the Department of Homeland Security and USPS to block people from voting.
Inequality Media Civic Action was made for this moment. We’re sounding the alarm to the 22 million people who view our content on social media every week, and we’re helping to flood Congress with letters and petition signatures demanding that they step in to block Trump’s executive order on mail-in ballots.
