ACTION ALERT:
The NSPM-7 Convictions Have Begun

(July 5, 2026) — As you may have heard, a group of 15 anti-ICE activists have just been sentenced to a combined 556 years in prison in a case stemming from a protest outside an ICE detention facility in Prairieland, Texas.
It’s one of the most outrageous miscarriages of justice that I’ve ever seen.
Even more chilling is that this is likely only the beginning — because the Prairieland prosecutions aren’t just some one-off abuse of power. They’re the very first convictions under NSPM-7, Donald Trump’s Orwellian directive ordering federal law enforcement to prosecute left-wing activists as domestic terrorists.
In fact, Trump is asking Congress for a massive $166 million increase in funding for FBI counterterrorism, aka NSPM-7 enforcement.
Inequality Media Civic Action is alerting our 10 million followers across social media about this threat to free speech and mobilizing public support to block Trump’s massive funding increase for NSPM-7.
NSPM-7, or Trump’s National Security Presidential Memo #7, categorizes a sweeping range of commonly held political beliefs as signs of “domestic terrorism” and directs federal law enforcement to investigate and disrupt organizations and individuals who espouse such views.
The list of censured opinions includes such vague concepts as “anti-capitalism,” “anti-Christianity,” “extremism on migration, race, and gender,” and opposition to “traditional American views on family, religion, and morality.”
What exactly does that mean? Look no further than the Prairieland prosecutions to understand what this is about.
The government accused the Prairieland defendants of a sprawling “antifa” conspiracy to violently attack a U.S. government facility. Their evidence? The activists wore all-black clothing, carried first aid kits, used Signal to send encrypted text messages, and published left-wing zines.
One defendant, who didn’t even attend the protest, was sentenced to 30 years for simply moving a box of reading material.
Similar NSPM-7 prosecutions are already underway, and there will be many more, especially if Trump gets his massive counterterrorism budget increase. It’s up to us to stop him.
