WHAT YOU CAN DO TO FURTHER THE WORK
The JFK Speech Committee is attempting to develop a relationship with Mayors for Peace. So if you live in a city or town that is part of the Mayor for Peace network, you could approach your mayor to make sure he/she is aware of the speech and explore their interest in spreading awareness of the speech.
The Committee is also attempting to develop a project with history and social studies teachers. So if you know teachers who might be interested you could reach out and link them with our committee.
Finally you can ask one person a day if they know about the speech and if not, you can help them view it and discuss it with them. This may not seem like a lot, but remember: “The difference between doing something and doing nothing is everything!”
