America’s Health After Lying to Congress

(August 28, 2026) — RFK Jr. lied in Senate confirmation hearigs, newly revealed documents indicate. He repeatedly told senators his 2019 trip to Samoa had “nothing to do with vaccines,” despite records showing he had proposed reviewing Samoa’s MMR vaccines before traveling there and met with prominent anti-vaccine activists during the visit.

After his trip, Samoa suffered a catastrophic measles outbreak that killed 83 people, including 72 children under the age of 5 — a result directly related to dangerously low vaccination rates. RFK could’ve promoted life-saving vaccines while he was there, instead he continued to spread anti-vax disinformation.

Now the consequences of vaccine misinformation are hitting families here at home too.

The CDC has recorded 2,777 cases nationwide this year alone, the highest annual total reported in more than 35 years. Last year, people died of measles during outbreaks in Texas and New Mexico. Now, Pennsylvania has announced two more measles-related deaths.

Instead of responding to the tragedy with increased access to and promotion of the proven and effective vaccine, RFK Jr. attacked Gov. Josh Shapiro saying Pennsylvania officials might have fabricated the deaths.

Kennedy lied during his confirmation and has failed to educate and protect public health, and people are dying as a result. When is enough enough?

Congress must put the health and safety of America first. Demand Congress impeach and remove RFK from office now.

This goes far beyond one lie about one trip. Kennedy gave senators a false account of his record on vaccines while asking them to entrust him with one of the most powerful public health positions in the country.

Senators relied on his testimony to confirm him 52 to 48. Now his own correspondence has exposed the truth.

Pennsylvania has already confirmed 393 measles cases across 28 counties this year. Nationwide, thousands more have been infected. These outbreaks thrive when vaccination rates fall and dangerous misinformation convinces families to abandon the most effective form of prevention because a political agenda is promoted over science.

Congress has the constitutional power to hold Cabinet officials accountable. The House must impeach RFK Jr. and the Senate must remove him before more people die. Please contact Congress now.
