1,300 killed since the ceasefire began;
40,000 more bombs on the way
The Bombing of Gaza Hasn’t Stopped
Win Without War
(Since the Trump-brokered Gaza ceasefire deal was signed one year ago today, the Israeli military has killed over 1,300 Palestinians, including 300 children. Restrictions on aid and medicine mean countless others are suffering and dying. Prime Minister Netanyahu and other senior Israeli officials continue to discuss plans to forcibly displace Palestinians en masse. A genocide drags on.
Every day of violence means people in Palestine, Israel, and beyond are unsafe. This is Trump’s peace plan in action. The ceasefire agreement failed to include accountability mechanisms that might restrain the Israeli government’s aggression. A recently announced sale of 60,000 U.S.-made bombs to the Israeli military, all but assures further harm.
Fortunately, what happens next isn’t up to Trump. Right now, we’re seeing a seismic shift when it comes to momentum to block weapons sales, hold the Israeli government accountable for violence in Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon, and beyond, and reexamine U.S. complicity in suffering across the globe.
Phone call after phone call, text after text, email after email, our team is seizing this moment by furiously pushing a growing coalition of lawmakers to take action, including gearing up for when a new Congress is sworn in next January. As this sprint becomes a marathon, we need your support.
From a Board of Peace designed to deny Palestinians self-determination, to obstructing accountability for the killings of U.S. citizens by Israeli troops and settlers in the West Bank, to joining Netanyahu’s war on Iran, Trump’s violence and impunity have produced catastrophic outcomes.
Today, as we pass yet another heartbreaking milestone, we reaffirm our demand for a lasting peace in Gaza and beyond, and for justice and accountability for those who have been harmed.
And the tide is turning: When we started this work, few members of Congress were willing to question U.S. complicity in Gaza and beyond. But last month, 47 senators — a record-breaking number — voted in favor of a resolution demanding a State Department investigation into U.S. complicity in settler violence in the West Bank. That’s SEVEN more than we had in an April vote on weapons sales. It all set the stage to block offensive U.S. military aid, weapons sales, and more to the Israeli government.
It’s proof our pressure is working, and it happened because of people like you, people who refuse a broken status quo that prioritizes power and profit over people and peace.
The one thing we can guarantee is that if organizations like ours, and people like you, stay silent in moments like these, violence will deepen and people will be left to struggle.
Your donations give us the resources to carry out the work in front of us — the calls, meetings, and organizing that can get us the majorities in Congress we need to build the safer, more peaceful world we all want and deserve.
We’re a handful votes shy and we’re going ALL in. Join us. Lives remain on the line and our work is far from over. Will you help power our effort to end U.S. complicity in horrific violence and save lives?
